China Global Television Network

Launch: March 2018

Working with a small team of developers and creatives, we designed and built a custom interactive AR experience for integration in the wider China Global Television Network app. This was CGTN's first addition into AR and a huge milestone for the development of their customer features within their global app.


Directed at a Western audience, we developed an Android AR app, encouraging users to put our 'cute' Panda character into their environment and share to their social media channels. The biggest challenge with this delivery was app size - due to this being a package delivery to be launched within the existing CGTN app, size restrictions were tight and we had to work hard to not let this effect the creative output of the app.
