London Stock Exchange

The Stella Atrium

Role: Production Assistant

Launch: May 2015

Press: The Telegraph

The London Stock Exchange came to us wanting a way to visually reintroduce the excitement and buzz of the old trading floors, prior to the roll out of screen-based digital trading in 1986.

The Stella Atrium installation is the definition of a beautiful data visualisation. Pulling real time market data, news feeds and live video, it is an entire lobby filled with live data and information. It is used as a tool not only by internal traders at LSE, but by triggering the interactive opening or closing sequences, visiting company's of the Exchange can awake the Atrium every morning and "open" or "close" the market.
